Administration (Web)
The web edition can be shared by an organisation’s staff. Administration is arranged in
three levels; the menus you see depend on the level of your account.
- User — prepares estimates, tenders, agreements and bills for the organisation.
- Organisation administrator — also manages that organisation’s user accounts.
- Owner (super administrator) — manages organisations across the whole installation.
Manage users (organisation administrator)
Open . You can:
- Add a user — give a user name, display name and initial password.
- Reset a password — set a new password for one of your users.
- Remove a user — delete an account that is no longer needed.
- Grant modules — the Estimator, Engineers Office, Progress Monitor and
Contractor Workspace buttons on each row switch that module on or off for the account.
- Progress Monitor rights — the link
beside a granted account opens its rights inside that module: staff view of the whole
organisation, or a client-department account limited to its own department’s works;
an optional pin to one district, division, sub-division or circle; and the permission
matrix deciding what the account may create, edit, report, complete, archive or delete.
An account without saved rights works with the open default (staff, full editing).
The page shows how many user places are in use against the number your organisation is
allowed. When the limit is reached, add is disabled until a place is freed.
Login log
lists recent sign-ins for your
organisation — who signed in (or was refused), when, and from where — so you can review
access.
Manage organisations (owner)
The owner uses to:
- Create an organisation — give it a name, the number of user places allowed, and an
optional expiry date, and optionally its first administrator.
- Update the allowed number of users or the expiry date.
- Suspend or reactivate an organisation.
- Delete an organisation (with a typed confirmation).
The owner’s shows sign-ins and administrative
actions across every organisation.
Each organisation keeps its own work. An organisation’s projects and
office records are private to it — members of one organisation do not see another’s.
