Escalation & price-variation claims

Three CPWD-style claims are prepared from the Bills menu. Each editor pulls its quantities from the project’s own bills for the claim period you choose, computes the claim per the applicable clause, and prints / exports the full statement with annexures.

Clause 10C — Labour escalation

Bills › Clause 10C Labour Escalation… claims the statutory wage increase for work executed after a Government wage revision. Add a period per revision (the “Work executed from … to …” line is composed from the two date pickers), pull the trade-wise man-days from the chosen bill range, and enter the agreement-time and revised wages. Allowances and conventions are configurable on the form.

Clause 10CA — Material price variation

Bills › Clause 10CA Material Price Variation… claims the price variation of specified materials (cement, steel, bitumen, POL…) between the base date and the claim period. Material consumption can be pulled automatically from the bill range; base and current prices come from the price master (Escalation Notifications editor) or manual entry. Decreases are payable to the department — negative variation is shown as such, not suppressed.

Clause 10CC — Index-based escalation

Bills › Clause 10CC Price Escalation… claims quarterly escalation from the movement of the labour and material cost indices. Enter or pull each quarter’s gross value of work done, secured advance and material recovery; indices come from the cost-index master or manual entry.

Masters

Master DB › Escalation Notifications… maintains the shared masters behind these claims — revised wages, cost indices, material prices and the building-cost index (BCCI) — each applied by date, so a claim period picks up the notification in force.

All three editors save with the project, print through Report Preview and export to Excel.
